Hey Guys,
This is my first ever blog post and my first gig I have shot. Whilst not in the pit, I managed to get close enough to the front of the crowd to snap a few pictures. I hope you enjoy the images and watching me develop my skills through my photo shoots :)
I went to Hard Rock Calling with my Mom to celebrate her Birthday, and I just so happened to go watch Bon Jovi at the same time :) This is the 2nd time I have seen him, and both times he put on a stellar performance. But to be fair, I thought that the star of the Saturday was Imelda May.
A relative unknown, to me at least, but I found myself mesmerized by her catchy almost folk like melodies, and not to mention, that I have recently fallen in love with anything Irish after my fantastic 10 day trip of the country.
Many shots later, I had realised that I have managed to combine two different aspects of my life that I love into one, and ended up walking away with a huge smile on my face. I can now see why people love shooting live music, and afterwards, you get to join the crowd and jump around to the melodies!
